With ACTOR, an active system geared to cover a wide range of club gigs, HK AUDIO has upped the ante in the versatility and ease-of-use stakes. The basic version of the ACTOR system ships with four 15" subwoofers that pump out punchy bottom end, and two 12"/1" mid/high units built around a patented HF driver and large 60° x 40° horn with excellent directivity that ensures distortion free highs. Every cabinet in the system comes with its own 400-watt power plant on board, sparing you the drudgery of lugging unwieldy power amp racks and fussing with speaker cables, and at the same time granting you an uncommon measure of flexibility. For smaller gigs, you can operate the top unit in full-range mode, covering the entire spectrum without a subwoofer. For larger venues, you can run these cabs in satellite mode in tandem with either two or all four subwoofers. It’s that easy to get just the right sound at the every venue.
